The entire Casha & Casha team expresses sincere sympathy in the sudden loss of our dear colleague and friend, CRISTYN DANIELLE CLIFTON, an outstanding and compassionate person.  Her warmth and love of humankind was always evident in the manner she handled her caseload.  Cris’s absence in the office is a void that will never be filled.

Kaden Clifton lost his mother, Cristyn Clifton suddenly on Monday, February 3, 2020. Kaden’s hockey coach has started a Go Fund Me to help with funeral and other expenses.

Cristyn Danielle, Clifton age 46 of Montville at rest in Paterson on February 3, 2020. Beloved life partner of James Fairchild. Loving mother of Kaden Clifton. Dear daughter of Richard A. Clifton and Diane Rizzo and the late Lynn C. (nee Ferrara) Sobek (2000). Sister of Jacquelyn Elayn Clifton. Step-mother of Cassidy and Mackenzie Fairchild. Niece of Debra Warren. Cousin of Lisa Dudas. Sister-in-law of Maureen and Paul Blanos. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Born in Livingston, she lived most of her life in Mount Olive Township. She was an Attorney for Casha & Casha, LLC, Montville for many years. Prior to that’s she also served as assistant prosecutor in Baltimore County. She was a member of the NJ, Maryland and Washington DC Bar Associations. She was a parishioner of St. Pius X R.C. Church, Montville. Cristyn received her undergrad from Rutgers University in 1997 and she graduated from Seton Hall Law School in 2002. She was an avid Yankee fan and enjoyed visiting Key West, Florida with her family and watching the sunsets there. She loved her walks with Jimmy and Kayden at Liberty State Park and Sandy Hook and watching her son play hockey with the Falcons. She also loved cultivating her spring and summer flowers. Cristyn loved her king crab legs and chocolate. The family wishes to acknowledge the generosity and to thank all those that have donated to the GoFundMe page. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Saturday at 4:30 PM. Cremation is private at the request of the family. Friends may visit Saturday 1:00 – 5:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family for a trust fund being set up for her loving son Kayden Clifton would be appreciated.
