Cristyn Clifton, Esquire

Cristyn D. Clifton graduated from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2002 with a Juris Doctorate. She is admitted to practice law in New Jersey, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. She is also admitted in the United States District Court for the District(s) of New Jersey and Maryland. In addition, she is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, the Maryland State Bar Association, the District of Columbia Bar Association, the Essex County Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.

Cristyn has more than sixteen years of experience, beginning with a Superior Court clerkship alongside the Honorable Mark B. Epstein, J.S.C. (ret.) of Middlesex County. This was followed by several years of experience in both the private and public sectors, ranging from a civil litigation firm-, to experience in the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office-, to work in the family-law practice area for the past ten years.

As a family law attorney for Casha & Casha, Cristyn handles issues relative to divorce, custody, guardianships, domestic violence, and financial support. She is dedicated to putting mechanisms in place for purposes of protecting children and enjoys working on cases where she can facilitate positive changes for her clients. Moreover, Cristyn has a track record of success in minimizing litigation exposure, negotiating settlements, and achieving superior outcomes for her clients.

Cristyn has been listed as a 2019 Best Lawyer for Families, an award earned via feedback from clients. She was also published for her work on the brief in New Jersey Dept. of Environmental Protection v. Dimant, 212 N.J. 153 (2012).
