The land use and zoning attorneys at Casha and Casha, LLC represent clients before local planning boards and other governmental agencies, as a primary part of our practice. We work with real estate developers, builders, businesses and homeowners to facilitate development projects or obtain variances and special use permits. Commercial Land Use and Planning We guide private developers and builders through the complex approval process for commercial site plan applications, through the municipality but also depending on the project, through the massive amounts of regulations and state agencies. Representing applicants from over thirty years has developed the experience and contacts necessary in successfully representing land use applicants. We have successfully aided all types of applications, including strip malls and office complexes, town home and single family housing developments, churches and synagogues, and other applicants with other land use issues. Variances We also appear before local zoning boards on behalf of individuals and businesses to petition for variances and special use permits. We have represented business owners who are purchasing commercial property with the intention of changing the use or expanding the building's footprint. We also represent homeowners who need a variance (e.g., setback ordinance or height restrictions) for a remodeling job, addition, fence or new structure. |
