Free initial consultation. During the initial free consultation, there may be the possibility to establish a flat fee. Currently we charge flat fees plus costs for certain juvenile situations as follows: entering an appearance and having the matter moved to a juvenile panel without trial or appearance at Superior Court or juvenile panel, $750 (Superior Court/Probation appearance/intake, juvenile panel appearance, hourly), entering and appearance and negotiated plea $1,000, entering an appearance and trial $1,500, appeal from Municipal Court to Superior Court $2,500.  Because each juvenile matter has its own set of facts and circumstances, fixing a set fee may be impossible. Our current hourly rate is $300 per hour. A retainer will be determined at the time of the free initial consultation.
